Other Heritage Sites in Sutton Mandeville

Although the First World War badges and camps are our principal focus, the charitable objects of Sutton Mandeville Heritage Trust encompass the heritage of the whole parish.

The parish extends from the top of the chalk Downs, across the greensand scarp and down into the Nadder valley, presenting several distinctive landscapes. Settlement is quite dispersed. There are clusters of buildings near the church, in Sutton Row and Chicksgrove, plus many farmsteads and other homes spread around the parish. There is a good network of public footpaths and bridleways in ancient hollow ways and along green lanes that can be used to explore.

Historic sites in the parish of Sutton Mandeville range in date from prehistory to the Cold War.
